WHAT IS RANFO MEDIA?

It’s storytelling but more than that, it’s also about the experience. Think of the moments in life that left you with a memorable experience.

Conquering your fear of rollercoasters or heights and becoming an adrenaline junkie. Putting yourself out there in dating and taking a leap of faith with someone you care deeply for by getting into a relationship with them. Or seeing a film that left its mark on your soul and psyche so much that it inspired you to make lifestyle changes to your career, business or self.

My aim is to not just tell a story, but to give you - the client and audience, an experience that lasts the test of time and leaves you longing and coming back for more.

‘Ranfo’ is short for Random Photography. A term I came up with on assignment in film school at Humber’s, Film and TV Production program. I was shooting a visual poem and had gotten all my shots for the task, but a ‘happy accident’ presented itself that elevated the production. It was one of those moments where I was at the right place and right time.

My body of work can be summed up in three categories: Narrative. Commercial. Events. I’m a one-man production house with equipment that covers full service video production, aerials, photography, production sound and post-production. Because I’m a firm believer in: “It’s better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.”

Lately, I’ve taken an interest in sports videography and portrait photography. But don’t let me ramble on - stay for a while and let my work speak for itself.
